I love writing and am always drawn back to it, after long spells of avoidable procrastination. Which usual starts with me developing a complex about my writing style. My doubts are not necessarily about whether I’m a good writer, they tend to border on how I come across to others. Is my writing too formal or casual? is there a point to it and how much can I get away with!
Never one to colour in the lines, unless I was too young to know about it or have a say; I’m all about the authentic person. No matter how mad hatter you are. And so thinking about practising what I preach and encourage others to do and be. I’m gonna get back to my love of writing.
If you haven’t already switched off, the take away from this post is… I’m gonna do what I love, how I want, and hopefully bring others with me. All the ridiculous self doubt and time spent analysing something I and I alone have total control of is simply a waste of time.
Do what you love people and the rest will take care of itself (literally)
